Twin Peaks, CA – The Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station has added 20-year-old Jason Willis to its list of Most Wanted fugitives. Willis has a $250,000 outstanding Ramey warrant for assault on a police officer.
Willis is described as standing 6-feet, 2-inches tall, weighing about 162 pounds and having brown hair and blue eyes, according to a press advisory issued by Twin Peaks Captain Rick Ells.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
On Saturday, November 9, at about 2:30 p.m., deputies Boydston and Stufkowsky attempted to stop a 1991 Acura Willis was driving. Willis led the two deputies on a pursuit and drove through several stop signs, forcing a pedestrian to jump out of the way, at one point.
The pursuit ended a short time later when Willis crashed into the mountain in Running Springs and deputies boxed him in. As deputies exited their patrol units, Willis reportedly backed his Acura into the passenger’s side of a patrol car nearly striking deputy Stufkowsky, according to the media release.
Willis fled and later abandoned the Acura.
