San Bernardino, CA – Green Valley Lake burglary suspect Evan George Hadjes, 21, refused to be transported to a court appearance on Tuesday, June 10. Judge Ronald Christianson had been prepared to arraign Hadjes on information related to five felony counts of burglary and a felony count of possession of a controlled substance.
However, Judge Christianson was informed that Hadjes refused to come to court. The judge continued the hearing until 8:30 a.m. on Friday, June 13, in Department S-20-A, and ordered Hadjes to appear n that date.
Hadjes remains in custody on $500,000 bail at the Adelanto Detention Center.
THE CASE
Hadjes was arrested at 2:50 p.m. on February 21 in the 600 block of Oak Knoll Drive in Green Valley Lake and charged with a series of burglaries, according to the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station.
Deputies contacted Hadjes in his vehicle and he allowed deputies to search the car. They reportedly found a weed pipe and booked him on a December 2013 burglary case.
