Twin Peaks, CA – Tanya Emi Szal, 27, has been added to the list of the Mountain’s MOST WANTED by the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station. The woman — who at one time lived in Running Springs — is listed as a fugitive for failure to appear for arraignment on being in receipt of stolen property. She is also sought on a felony charge of carrying as dirk or dagger.
Judge Michael Dest issued the warrant on December 27, 2012, after Szal failed to appear in Department S-23 at 8:43 and 10:07 a.m. Own recognizance was revoked after agreeing to appear in court on November 6, 2012.
PREVIOUS CASE
In a previous case, Szal was found guilty of petty theft involving commercial property in May 2011 and ordered to complete 45 hours of community service at any non-profit or charitable organization.
When Szal failed to file proof of completion, Judge Jon Ferguson revoked community service on December 15, 2011, and ordered Szal to pay a fine of $450. Court documents do not indicate whether Szal paid off the fine.
