Big Bear Lake, CA - Jakeb Hume, a probationer on Post Release Community Supervision, is being sought by the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station. The public is asked to help locate the newest member of the Mountain’s Most Wanted.
As part of Governor Jerry Brown’s 2011 Realignment Plan (A.B. 109), in order to comply with a U.S. Supreme Court decision requiring the State of California to lower its prison population by 30,000 inmates, offenders with non-violent, non-sexual and non-serious convictions serve reduced sentences in county jails and are then placed on local Post Release Community Supervision through the County’s Probation Department after being released.
JAKEB HUME
Hume is wanted on a no bail warrant for violation of his probation terms and conditions stemming from a felony conviction for assault with a deadly weapon.
Hume is described by authorities as a 28-year-old White male, 6’1” tall, 200 lbs., with brown hair and green eyes.
