Sugarloaf, CA – Unknown vandals damaged over 15 vehicles in the Sugarloaf area early Sunday, May 10, according to the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station.
A media advisory indicates the vandalism occurred between midnight and 4 a.m. The suspects used what deputies believe is a BB or Pellet gun to shoot out windows on numerous vehicles and a glass door at the Sugarloaf Post Office.
Deputies believe the suspects where driving an unknown type vehicle in the area and targeting other random vehicle windows.
The vandals caused thousands of dollars worth of damage and deputies currently are following up on leads.
